Here are some wonderful photographs of children in 2LP dressing up in Tudor clothing for their History lesson this week. This term the children in Year 2 have been looking at the Tudors and have focused on Henry VIII and Elizabeth I in particular.

Friday April 8th was Mary Seacole Day in Year 3. The children were involved in various activities throughout the day: Studying artefacts, painting portraits, tasting Jamaican food, baking soda bread and role playing incidents from Mary’s life. Year 4, 5 and 6, a class at a time, recently visited Welwyn Garden City town centre to find out about its history. On Tuesday 6th July Year 1 went to Mill Green Museum at Mill Green, Hatfield. The children took part in a variety of activities including making bread and visiting the museum. “ My favourite activity was drawing in the garden.”
